Jennifer Bird is a Vice President with Empire Search Partners. Jen concentrates on consulting attorneys of all levels across a range of practice areas, including bankruptcy, litigation, banking and finance, tax, trusts & estates, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, securities, capital markets, investment management, employee benefits, real estate, and tax exempt organizations.  She places partners and associates with leading large and boutique law firms and in-house counsel with well-known corporations.  Jen has also held several workshops for attorneys contemplating the next move in their careers and is a frequent speaker on the topic.

Before joining Empire Search Partners, Jen was an Executive Legal Recruiter with another preeminent legal search firm in New York.  Jen also practiced law as a tax and trusts and estates attorney at White & Case in New York.  Prior to graduating from law school, she worked as a Legislative Assistant to a U.S. Senator, a Legal Intern for the Connecticut Civil Liberties Union, and a Law Clerk for the Federal Court of Australia.  She is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of Community Mediation Services, a nonprofit dispute resolution center in Jamaica, Queens.

Jen received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.S., magna cum laude, in Psychology from Brown University.
