Scott D. Yaccarino is a Co-Founder and Partner of Empire Search Partners. Scott concentrates on consulting attorneys of all levels across a range of practice areas including banking and finance, investment management, capital markets, corporate governance, tax, employee benefits, tax exempt organizations, litigation, intellectual property, real estate and bankruptcy. He places partners, general counsels, associates and other in-house counsel with well known corporations, banks, registered and unregistered investment funds, and law firms. Scott is also a frequent public speaker on issues pertaining to the market and legal search industry.
Prior to co-founding Empire Search Partners, Scott was a Director at a preeminent legal search firm in New York. He practiced for years as a transactional attorney at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault in Boston and at a major international firm in New York. Scott’s legal practice focused on advising a wide range of clients including investment fund sponsors and investors, state pension plans, large private foundations, funds-of-funds and public and private corporations.
Scott holds an LL.M. in Taxation and received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Law. He earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business.
